Jet Vest CH07 Life Preserver

Compact and Reliable Life Protection for Aircrew

The Jet Vest CH07 Life Preserver is designed to safeguard aircrew operating in fixed-wing aircraft from the dangers of immersion at sea. Built for maximum comfort and mobility, the Jet Vest CH07 offers reliable flotation, head support, and stable positioning in emergency water landings, ensuring aircrew survival even in challenging conditions.

This compact life vest includes integrated pockets to carry essential survival and rescue equipment, making it an indispensable tool for pilots and crew flying over water.

Performance

Designed for speed, agility and control, our solutions excel under the extreme demands of fast jet flight. By reducing pilot fatigue and supporting physical resilience, we enable greater endurance in high-intensity missions, helping ensure sustained performance and mission success, even in the most challenging conditions.

Innovation

We’re shaping the future of fast jet capability through next-generation innovation. From cutting-edge material sciences to advanced G-protection system architectures, our solutions are designed to enhance pilot performance and survivability. Innovative textiles and smart integration elevate protection and efficiency, setting new standards for the cockpit and beyond.

Protection

Protection in fast jet environments demands intelligent integration. Our systems are designed to safeguard pilots against thermal extremes, high-G forces and operational hazards. From cockpit survivability to environmental resilience, every element is engineered to preserve capability when it matters most.

Product Benefits

Enhanced Survival in Water:
Provides critical buoyancy and automatic head support, ensuring aircrew remain safe and comfortable while awaiting rescue.

Comfort and Mobility:
The compact design ensures minimal interference with other flight gear, allowing for full mobility in the cockpit and during egress procedures.

Reliable and Redundant:
The dual bladder system provides an extra layer of security, ensuring flotation even in the event of one bladder failing.

Versatile Equipment Storage:
With integrated pockets, aircrew can carry essential survival and rescue equipment, improving their chances of survival in emergency situations.

Platform Compatibility:
The Jet Vest CH07 Life Preserver is designed for use by aircrew in fixed-wing aircraft, particularly those operating over water. It is compatible with a range of fast jet platforms and integrates seamlessly with other pilot flight equipment.

Key Features

Inflatable Stole for Flotation:
The inflatable stole is activated post-immersion to provide critical buoyancy, ensuring the wearer remains afloat and comfortable in the water.

Automatic Head Support:
Once inflated, the life preserver’s design ensures the wearer’s head is supported, keeping their nose and mouth safely above the water’s surface.

Dual Bladder System:
Incorporates two independent bladders, providing at least 275 newtons of buoyancy, ensuring high levels of flotation and redundancy in case of bladder failure.

Stable Back Positioning:
Automatically turns the wearer onto their back, stabilising them in the water, regardless of their equipment load, up to a maximum weight of 140 kg.

Integrated Survival Pockets:
The Jet Vest includes strategically placed pockets for carrying survival and rescue gear, allowing aircrew to keep essential equipment within reach at all times.
