The ensemble is designed to protect against chemical and biological threats, ensuring the safety of the pilot in any operational scenario.

Perfect Fit Programme:
The Perfect Fit programme ensures that each Eurofighter pilot’s flight ensemble is tailored to their exact measurements for optimal comfort and performance. This advanced fitting process uses 3D body scanning technology to create custom-fitted garments that enhance protection, reduce fatigue, and maximise operational effectiveness.

With the Perfect Fit programme, every pilot’s ensemble is delivered within 10 days of fitting, ensuring rapid deployment and superior protection. By providing personalised comfort and the best possible fit, pilots can focus on their mission without distractions caused by ill-fitting equipment. To date, over 2,000 fast jet pilots have been successfully fitted through the Perfect Fit programme.
