Solandri SEIE

Advanced Submarine Escape System for Rush Escape with Superior Thermal Protection

The Solandri Submarine Escape Immersion Equipment (SEIE) represents the next generation of escape suits, developed to provide submariners with unmatched protection during emergency evacuations. Designed with double-layered waterproof materials and twin inflatable insulation chambers, Solandri enables submariners to perform free ascent from a disabled submarine, offering enhanced survivability at the surface.

Performance

When underwater emergencies occur, a trusted, proven partner is essential. Our submarine escape and abandonment systems are engineered for precision, speed, and survivability, delivering reliable performance under extreme pressure and time-critical conditions. From deep escape scenarios to surface evacuation, they enable rapid, controlled responses when it matters most.

Innovation

We are continually advancing our submarine escape and abandonment capabilities to meet the evolving demands of naval operations. Through new material sciences, technological innovation and strategic partnerships, we push the boundaries of survivability — developing solutions that set new standards in performance, integration and reliability beneath the surface.

Protection

Sub-surface emergencies demand absolute confidence in protective systems. Our escape and abandonment solutions are designed to safeguard submariners from depth to recovery, delivering thermal insulation, flotation, and life-support performance under the harshest conditions. Proven through rigorous testing, they provide the protection needed when submariner survival is the priority.

Product Benefits

Durability:
The double-layer construction and advanced materials ensure the suit remains operational even after extended periods in stowage.

Thermal Protection:
Twin inflatable insulation chambers conserve body heat, ensuring submariners stay warmer and survive longer in harsh conditions.

Surface Survival:
The integrated lifejacket with adjustable relief valves improves buoyancy and safety at the surface, protecting submariners while awaiting rescue.

Key Features

Double-Layered Waterproof Design:
Built with advanced materials for maximum durability, ensuring the suit’s integrity during high-pressure escapes.

Twin Inflatable Insulation Chambers:
These chambers provide superior thermal protection, helping submariners maintain body heat and survive longer in cold water conditions.

Inflatable Lifejacket:
Integrated lifejacket offers 120 Newton of buoyancy, providing essential protection and buoyancy for submariners at the surface.

Advanced Construction:
The suit’s high-frequency welded design eliminates natural fibres and latex, preventing accelerated aging and enhancing through-life performance.

Certified and Reliable:
The Solandri SEIE is tested to rigorous standards, ensuring reliable performance during emergency escapes at depths of over 200 metres. Its advanced construction and features provide submariners with the protection they need during high-pressure evacuations.
